from a bull perspective, you should want the fut's as low as possible since this is your best chance of precipitating a short covering rally. this is the opposite of what happened yesterday as the huge uptick precipitated profit taking which snowballed. a flat open is not what a bull would want after yesterday. with all the shorts washed out, you're looking at a 200 point rout today by market close.
