I was thinking last night on what a combination of things it was...
the type of candles was a big part but the fact that they were right below the 50ema was really important.
We knew the nasdaq would need a big push to get through...but it was so overbought it was looking tired.
No way would it have the power to break that and hold, with other resistance right above.

But other confirmation was a big part, both Don's and Teresa Lo's. She sent out an intraday email mentioning a possible exhaustion gap during a morning ramp up a few days ago...and it really stuck with me.
I also watch Brookelise's famous complacency indexes <g>

..and you know from following Brookelise's posts, it's all 50/50 chances...I could have watched the nas roar, send my shorts screaming higher and ended up in a fetal position under my desk for the afternoon <g>
