Yes, and there are doctors of all faiths who provide medical care for free sometimes. Like Doctors without Borders. Although I post Thomas M's view, I realize his assertions or quotations about the Jewish religion (and a lot other things) is largely a bunch of crap.

But tell me how many Jews actually accept that interpretation of the Kabala?? Of course, the right wing Jews might, but I don't know of too many jewish doctors in the US who could live with themselves by adhering to that standard. Hawk, please do not dignify the libelous crap that Thomas posts by implying that it represents, in any way shape or form, orthodox halacha. Orthodox halacha actually puts a very high value on saving life -- Jewish or not -- even if you have to break laws, such as keeping the Sabbath, that are otherwise very important. The rule is called 'pikuach nefesh', the saving of a soul. BTW, orthodox halacha never claims that only Jews have souls or only Jews have a share of the world to come. Tradition says that's why only one first man, Adam, was created -- so no could say, my race is more human than yours.
