LOL! Let me finish giggling.

OK, so you're not an expert on vengeance. Maybe one of us will post those questions on the BR some day where we can get more first-hand opinions. Today, though, I'm feeling pretty wiped out from all the arguing.

I just came from my local train station, where I saw my older daughter off for Boston. I had to go to a neighboring city to by the ticket and had to show a photo ID. I gave the tickets to her at the station and she noticed that my name was printed on them. Not only does she not share my last name, but she's a different race than I. She got on the train without having to show ID, but I'm a wee bit worried about what will happen when the conductor comes and wants to check identification. Lots of little glitches in our new homeland security measures....

I hear you about anthrax. I think the coverage is way overblown. That said, from what I've read about the anthrax in the letter to Daschle's office (the fineness of it and the way it aerosolized as the letter was opened), I'm worried that there are going to be more cases of the inhalation variety.

IMO it's about oil, with a touch of Israel.

Karen, I'd like to pursue that, but first a little clarification. I'm not even sure what question you're responding too. Do you mean the US response is about oil? Or the original WTC / OBL attack? I have elsewhere argued for some focus on OBL and Afghanistan and the direct problem of in-place networks, versus the worldwide war on Islam /Arabs that seems to be in the air around SI. Broadening the war before the immediate problem is under control seems dangerous to me.
