Second, even if relativism were the default position, that would be like saying it was obvious that the sun revolves around the earth Last post before I go. That remark was so silly... Saying that the (obvious) evidence for relativism could be wrong adds nothing to the picture. Everything averred by anyone, about anything, could be incorrect. Take that for a default position. Still...it seems pointless to eschew understanding simply because we are aware that we are relative, limited, and conditional...
