Both this and the other recommendation of Yahoo Finance seem not to have something that I appreciate in the MySchwab site, which is headlines of general news, typically three each of general top news stories, business news, and technology news.

Thomas, I see further down that ardethan has the recommendation I wish to offer. It's the My Yahoo arrangements. I use it and have had an account with Schwab that offered the MySchwab arrangement. I much prefer Yahoo's. The possibilities are actually much greater. The only criticism I have of the Yahoo site is they are not particularly good with breaking news. But neither is Schwab. For that you need to use something like the New York Times online site which updates every 10 minutes.
