The benchmark scores are indeed a non-linear function
of clockspeed (in most cases), but the map back onto
the clock axis remains linear. Trust me.

Aren't you forgetting that AMD uses external auditors to verify their ratings.

I doubt that all the auditors do is check AMD's math :^)
