Sounds like a pretty crummy idea to me, privacy-wise. What would it do to prevent the kinds of problems we've been facing or are likely to face? What they need to address and spend resources on, instead, are things like tightening up non-citizens' visas, illegal entry, overstaying their visas, etc. Ellison, of course, just sees it as a business opportunity.
