Why would I try to slander? That is silly. I am trying to criticize truthfully, not falsely. I want to highlight the lengths that Jews will go to deny and cover up anything and everything that is not perfect about them and about Israel. I also want to highlight the religious extremism that mirrors Islamic fundamentalism in the Middle East. I think any reasonable person who read your post Message 16518581 which included the quotation ...the Halacha generally forbids a Jew - even if he is a doctor - to save the life of a goyim would recognize that your purpose was to slander a whole religion and the people who belong to it. I think if you had only been trying to highlight religious extremism you wouldn't have made such a broad and unqualified statement which attempted to ascribe the extremist views of a few like Baruch Goldstein to the entire religious community. I know you recognize that is wrong to do this as you've said so: In response to the question: So isn't it misleading to represent an extremist like the Goldstein guy you mentioned as being representative of the Jewish religion?, you replied. Yes it would be. If you want to criticize truthfully, not falsely in the future, I think you need to work harder and be a good bit more discriminating about your broad charges. You sound more like a guy who just wants to bait people by making hurtful statements. ------------- Re. the past policy of freely selling anthrax etc to anyone who can cough up $50 for a vial, I would agree that was woefully negligent.
