<< Neither Hamas nor Hezbollah, two of the bloodiest terror groups on earth, was included in President Bush´s executive order freezing terrorist assets. >>

Hopefully these groups are next!

It seems like the majority of Arabs, inside and outside of America, are supporters of bin laden, even though they don't "totally" approve of what bin laden and Al Qaeda did to America on Sept 11th.

I don't care how many times our politicians tell us to consider American Arabs as friends. I need more proof of it, and I am not seeing it!

It is a great article. However.........

......It's not who you take to the dance, it's who you go home with.

As a strategy, the destruction and disruption of both the Taliban's and bin Laden's organizations should be America's top priority. Whatever alliances propagate that goal, however unseemly, should be nurtured.

At this very early stage of the war on terrorism, it's a case of making a point, showing bin
Laden and his supporters that their actions carry a much higher price than they had expected to pay. Whatever happens, including the possibility of crumbling Pakistani support, America must proceed with steely resolve in Afghanistan and finish what they came to do. Bin Laden and the Taliban surely calculated that they might see this kind of response. America must show them that they underestimated very badly so that other terrorists think twice before bringing down the wrath of America on their heads also. Are you listening, Saddam?

That article reminds me of a song by John Pryne where he says "It don't make no sense that common sense don't make no sense no more".

Jeff Jacoby's Boston Globe article fails to realize the fact that Israel has enough problems at home to tend to, and if they participate in the open they will rip the coalition apart. We don't need an Arab-Jewish war at this time. However, they have to be sharing their information behind closed doors...why wouldn't they?
