Add this to the list: female servants from countries such as Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Malaysia, the Philippines and other countries, whose passports are confiscated upon arrival, are routinely beaten and raped by their Saudi employers. This is considered acceptable behavior in Saudi Arabia, and those who commit these crimes are rarely, if ever, prosecuted.

- The penalty for theft: hands are amputated with a knife or an ax; Yes, but Saudi Arabia has one of the lowest theft rates in the world. (Catch me once, shame on me. Catch me twice, I can't wipe my a** anymore.)

I would like to add that I hope Alwaleed keeps spouting off at the mouth. In due course the American public will clearly understand just where Saudi Arabia stands, and then there will be a backlash that will make the intifada look like St. Swithin's Eve.

There will be no backlash, the U.S. has bigger fish to fry. Saudi Arabia will be tolerated as long as the oil flows. Why get angry at them? They are the weakest of the weak.

Male doctors may not examine women, and women doctors cannot examine men;

- Women may not become doctors;

Pardon me for asking a dumb question, but does this mean there is no such thing as a gynecologist in Saudi Arabia?

Why does the term "catch 22" spring to mind?
