Thank you for your reply. IMO all Americans are feeling very frustrated and angry about the events occurring in our country, and around the world.

IMO the events of 9/11 have changed "the rules"...and to quote one official, "the gloves are off" and any and all means possible will be used to stop those involved with the terrorist activities.
