ROFLMAO!

Pmcs is cutting 24% of their staff and they are guiding down!

Amcc was up and finished AH down too. At least they didn't guide down, but the ceo said that the recovery would be "anemic". What kind of market cap you give a company with 42 million in revenues for the next few quarters and anemic growth after that?

Don't forget Sycamore's peachy guidance.

In the old days fund managers got guidance from companies. It was the little investor who was last to know. That's why we have REG FD now. It's to even up the field.

Don't let anyone fool you into thinking companies didn't give guidance. It was just selective.

Nt is 12% of Amcc's revenues. That puts them at about $5 million per quarter.

I don't know how much they are of Pmcs but I think it's a top customer. Pmcs DID give guidance and it was for $45-55 million which is less than expectations of $65 million.

Jdsu already said that the bottom is near but it is not this quarter.

Maybe these stocks bottom, but they aren't going to run away with guidance like this and valuations this high. I'll bet I can buy anything in this sector in a few months near these prices.
