The Palestinian factions do not want the "peace process" as it is just a cease fire, where the Jews get to lie about stopping settlement and the Palestinian refugee question and the 1948 and 1967 border issue gets ignored.

The Jews do not want the peace process because these issues get put on the table and it gets more and more obvious who is being intransigent about the issues. From the vague news reports about Israeli soldiers firing etc, it is obvious that Jews are breaking the ceasefire too. All to often Palestinian civilians are killed or rock throwers. There are few reports of AK47's being found on dead bodies. This is highly suspect that the loose cannons are not just the Palestinian factions.

It is hard to get two groups of liars with ten factions each to the table to decide anything. The only thing that will work is for those cowards and troublemakers such as Britain and the US to walk in redraw the borders in consultation with Syria, Egypt and Lebanon and put a UN force into buffer it and keep the peace. It is obvious that Palestinian workers cannot be travelling back and forth to Israel, so the borders must be sealed and Palestine must develop its own economy. The US can dictate new borders and conditions because if the Israelis do not agree then the States can withdraw 5 billion in yearly aid.

Everywhere we have seen armies of occupation, people rebel. Ireland, France, 13 colonies, Quebec, India, etc.. It's a recipe for misunderstanding and trouble.
