Conversion update. I installed Norton Utilities 2002 and WinDoctor says I have 151 problems, 108 of them are invalid ActiveX/Com. Somehow I don't believe Peter as this is a new machine WinXP and haven't installed the old disk so haven't migrated anything over. I did not let Norton repair at this time until I get an OK from Mr. Mark or his replacement expert for Norton.
I'll attack the old drive question tomorrow. I got Partition Magic 7.0 so can partition the new HD, move the old stuff to it and try for a dual boot. XP and ME keeping the old drive as a slave for backup, or perhaps just leave the old drive in and try to run the second boot from it.
Any opinions will be appreciated.
