I, for one, am grateful that W & co. are taking a measured approach. I've used the focus word before with the local drummers. I think Afghanistan will be mopped up with surprising speed, there wasn't a lot of conventional military strength there to begin with. For humanitarian reasons as well as everything else, it's better finished quickly. Domestic security is harder, but I'm sure it's already 1000% better than it was before 9-11. If all the war on drugs people could be easily transferred to more useful pursuits in that area, it would be cool. Lieberman, I hadn't heard about. Most of the talk out of Washington on Anthrax is way too confused, somebody needs to take charge there.
