We soon won't need Pakistan and they will be irrelevant unless they agree to no Taliban and deal with the terrorists that they form in their schools. The Taliban will be gone from Afganistan, but very present in Pakistan unless it is a condition that they deal with them. Iran is more our friend than they are.

I think the elements of the NA that ravaged the country before the Taliban are being dealt with, and with the UN in place, they will not have sway. RAWA wants the old king to come in. And it seems many people do. A remembrance of when life was brighter there, and a start to it being so again. The ONLY people who count are those of Afganistan.

But some would bomb them into oblivian for being in the same land as BinLadin and the Taliban. As some think all ME countries are the same. <g>
