bob rivers, btw, does have a very good singing voice. don't you agree?

He does, indeed. In fact, he has dozens of them. And I just listened to your favorites for the first time. "Homeless for the Holidays" sure tests the boundaries of bad taste - but not as much as "Bin Laden and the Jets". "Who Put the Stump", on the other hand, is unquestionably great.

IMO, he's one of the true comic geniuses today - one of the few that I actually laugh out loud at. Is "O Little Town of Bethlehem" on your CD? Another brilliant rendition - this time he kept all the original lyrics but set them to The Animals' arrangement of "House of the Rising Sun".

Some of his compositions are destined to become classics someday. "Cheeseburgers with Parasites", "What if God Smoked Cannabis", "Madonna Killed American Pie", etc.

GEORGE UPDATE VIA RIP RENSE
NY Daily News---Rush and Molloy

The Word on Beatle George Is Upbeat

Things may be looking up for George Harrison in his battle with an inoperable
brain tumor. The ex-Beatle is said to be feeling so much better that he's
planning to leave New York by week's end.

"George is responding well to therapy," a friend of Harrison's tells us. "His
pain has completely abated. He's been able to get off all pain medicine and
enjoy the company of his family and friends."

Harrison, 58, had been receiving fractionated stereotactic radiosurgery at
Staten Island University Hospital under the supervision of Dr. Gil Lederman.
Since last week, he has been receiving the new cancer treatment as an
outpatient while staying nearby with his wife, Olivia, and their 23-year-old
son, Dhani. (Due out this month is "Horse to Water," a song he and Dhani
wrote.)

"His situation is still guarded," says the friend. "But his turnaround has
been dramatic" since he flew into New York less than three weeks ago on a
private jet from Switzerland.
