bmw if you want ddr you have to select another base special. Try gamers special, for under 1000 you get a very powerful toy with athlon xp 1800+,16X10X40X cdrw, 16X dvd, gforce 2 mx 400 with 64MB, 512MB ddr, 40GB HD and 19" monitor. I am tempted to change few options and to buy it now Regards -Albert ps the other system with sys 730 mb runs sdram but the penalty for going from ddr to sdram is far less than current penalty for goung from rambus to sdram, I think
