Oh! We spent some time on Long Point when we went down last month. I'll bet it's beautiful there now.

We're in high apple season up here at this point. The local cider mill is busily grinding up lots of apples and little bee bodies.

They make a great hard cider, though I've got to cut it with regular cider. It's a wondrous thing to sit in front of a fire with a mulled cup of it.

If you end up at Giffords, do let me know about the swiss chocolate. I haven't had it in a good twenty years. I'm afraid to make the trek myself. If it's not the same, I'll lose a wonderful memory. If it's still wonderful, I'll be miserable because I won't be able to bring any home and it's too far to go for a couple of scoops.
