Is this any different from the people who are constantly posting "anecdotal evidence" for AMD's rising market share and Intel's market deception? These things go both ways, you know. Wanna has been very, very judicial in the things he's brought up, and he's only gone over the line when responding to people who've gone over the line. > Personally, I wonder who appointed you thread > policeman anyway? Interesting. Why do you think I am a "policeman"? Have I arrested you? One of the things that make the so-called "free world" a great thing is that you can express your disapproval of things without having to insult people. You seem to be one of those people who prefer the personal insults, which (by the way) are, to the thread's actual policeman, something that is not permissable on this thread. On a hunch, I went back and checked out Wanna_bmw's last eighty messages. In it, there were two messages that could be considered mild personal insults. One was indirectly in response to a comment suggesting that Intel is mailing Anthrax out, and the other being in response to your insult to him. Additionally, the bulk of those eighty messages were filled with logical reasoning and intelligent ideas. No, I don't agree with all that he said; as a matter of fact, I disagree with a great deal of his conclusions. Nonetheless, the vast majority of his data points are valid and interesting, and he -- and this part is important, because it makes him better than most of the branded "AMDroids" or "Intellabees" -- he admits when he's wrong, and is willing to have his mind changed when presented with strong logical arguments. > Right now, with my random collection of Intel > FUDsters on ignore, I see 11 posts out of 40 on > the header screen. It ain't me that's making > this thread a waste of time. Perhaps not. It's Paul Engel, Yousef, and Niceguy, primarily. Perhaps Dan3, who really, really reaches in his arguments and plainly (like that gal from a week or so ago) is willing to suggest that the company he dislikes can be likened to mass murderers. -JC
