With the benefit of hindsight how accurate were Intel's past 5 year process plans? I think pretty much on target, with the "normal" slips you get in the most complex high tech projects. I'm not sure 5 years really is needed, OEMs plans will change several times in that span of time, but I would like to see AMD say something about atleast 2 years from now. I think you allude to what AMD can, and does do about process technology planning, with their more, shall we say, precarious position in the industry.
