I couldn't have said it better myself!

<< Rage Against the Machine is a popular rap-metal band, explicitly critical of U.S. power and capitalist rule. Their recent album Evil Empire hit #1 on the Billboard charts when it first came out. Noam Chomsky, professor of linguistics at MIT and well-known dissident intellectual, is highly admired by the group. Guitarist Tom Morello comments that Chomsky's books are the most popular on the Rage tour bus, and a couple of his works appear on the inside cover of their latest album. The following interview between Morello and Chomsky was conducted via phone during the summer of 1996. It was broadcast nation-wide during the Radio Free LA program in January 1997. >>

Just a random thought on all this "debate" recently about whether the media is reporting too much about the war in Afghanistan -

While I agree that one shouldn't be able to find out troop movements on television, the actual debate is what riles me up. This strikes me as a major red herring. The idea that our mass media are telling us TOO MUCH would be funny if it weren't so sad.
