This market is anything but monotonous, but I think you mean monotonic! <g>

Zeev, what kind of dowside are you looking at for NAZ and DOW following the Nov top? Looks like the top presents a great shorting opportunity.

How low you see BRCM, JNPR, QLGC, BRCD going duirng the downturn lasting into XMAs?

Zeev: I have to agree with you on the Sox. The weakness in the Sox in the face of that spike up to 1650 on the Nasdaq prompted me to revise my downward projection in that index to 300 in a post this past week given the current environment.

Unfortunately, if this forecast is met, this does not have great implications for the Nasdaq as a whole.

Zeev:

One thing that disturbs me about this bounce is that junk bonds remain dead in the water. If this stock rally really had legs, junk bonds would be joining the party as they did last spring.

Zeev, do you have an idea why the sox has been under distribution while other parts of the tech landscape have risen past September 11 th levels; I see that Dell and other are above this area. Even the NDX is above; yet valuations in other parts of the tech area are not much better than the semi and large equips.
