Gee, why do you suppose they are the only Arab nation that lets us fly jets out of them on a regular basis? What exactly is your definition of a puppet government? Was Marcos a puppet? If not, give an example. Maybe France's government during Nazi occupation? That's an extreme example, IMO. It won't be that obvious because we aren't brutal enough to kill people who refuse us, at least not right off. We'll squeeze them economically till they give.
