Britain is most fortunate to still have the gurkhas. I always worry when they are putting in a new round of defense cuts. Some of these hundreds of years old traditions could be hard to restore.

France has her "Foriegn Legion" and I would have thought it would be ideal to use under the current circumstances.

They are so secret you don't even know if they have had any casualties or not...

Aghanistan must be similar to "home turf".

They have a very long history of serving with distinction for UK forces and have really horrible knives <ng> (see crest)
