Excellent presentation. Thank you.

As you have time, I hope you can give us your opinions on the other items I listed or anything else you might think important to help us understand how the USA projects influence, power, and force as a matter of American foreign policy.

I see foreign policy and military policy as highly intertwined and now is an excellent time for us to appreciate some of the current issues as well as some of the important tools we presently have in our nation's armed forces.

NUCLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER

uw: What's your view of the potential terrorist threat that our nation's nuclear facilities face? IMHO, we should phase them out and shut them down ASAP. There are alternative forms of energy that are safer and are much less controversial. Yet, we need to make sure we continue to REDUCE our overall dependence on Middle Eastern oil. Some tough decisions will clearly have to be made in the months ahead.
