To their credit, the US military always held failed prez Clinton in disdain. On the other hand, criminals loved Clinton. He was one of them. Their leader. He gave them so many pardons and they gave him cash and votes.

They saluted him and followed his orders because they respected their OATHs. Most never respected him because he failed to honor his OATH. They also understood from day 1 what utter contempt Billy had for them. Ever hear the story of how Colin Powell was informed by Hillary the day after moving to the white house that he was never to wear his uniform to briefings at the White House? Most of the officer corps has... and they will never forget it. They will also never forget how Bill snubbed the families of the rangers killed in Somalia when they visited the White House. They also will never forget how he sent their brothers into combat while engaging in a sex act with his intern.
