You were right on gold again, but possibly for the wrong reason. Sure looks like like the powers that be are engaged in a massive effort to suppport the dollar and suppress gold. The continued strength of the dollar in the face of negative real short-tern interest rates that now are much lower than in Europe provides strong circumstantial evidence for this assertion.
