Well, when you think about it, what man doesn't "size up" the situation when in a crowded public building or mass transit or airliner these days? I think most every guy goes over possible scenarios in his head/dreams. . .wondering what he will do if faced with a Flight 93 scenario. And every guy I've talked to, would not think twice. . . they would do whatever they could to thwart any attempt. Did you read about the most recent attempt to hijack a Greyhound bus headed to Nashville? This man was saying that people in the back of the bus had guns. . .then as he approached the driver said that he was going to flip the bus. He got his hands on the wheel of the bus and made his attempt But so many men jumped on the guy at once that one of the "heroes" had another "hero" in a strangle-hold. LOL . . . that must have been a sight. . . .like Laurel and Hardy or something. They got the guy off the driver and were fine. But you see what I mean. Every guy that was awake was up there trying to thwart the attempt. The spirit of Flight 93 lives on. Standing in the Post Office this morning, you could cut the tension with a knife. One thing I know is that this generation . . .just like the one that was around for Pearl Harbor. . . will never forget. There was once a time when you could go into public in the city and do about anything and everyone would turn a blind eye. Not anymore. You can read it on peoples faces now. They are watching. They are alert. And many are armed. If not with handguns, with things that can be swung, whacked, slammed or smacked into the heads of would be terroridiots. Rande Is
