Tony- There are no more highly biased threads than the AMD ones, here and on RB. Aw come on Tony, there are highly biased threads all over the place. But the AMD ones stand out because many of the posters are actually reasonably intelligent.

"Someone alluded to this on the RB AMD thread:"

Yeah. That someone was you. Imagine my surprise. I was wondering when I clicked on that link that it told me the poster was ignored, I don't have that many. I took you off ignore, and Voila! The post showed up.

It is your opinion that AMD threads are more highly biased than any other threads, despite the forum. I dunno, the few times I have wandered over to the Intel threads, they are full of posters talking about how Intel is going to bury and/or buy out AMD. The ones that I like is Intel is going to release a super-secret processor with extremely high performance just any day now.

So, has the Hammer taped out yet? Something was likely taped out at the end of last year, see jc-news.com . It might have been the 0.18 micron Hammer that AMD was making some noises about last year, and it may have been the reason that AMD announced that they would delay ClawHammer until 0.13 micron SOI was available, maybe there was some problem. Or, the tapeout might have gone fine and AMD made a marketing decision to get some type of workstation/server track record with the Athlon MPs. There are some persistant rumors about Hammer samples floating around, they could be true. The samples are just not what will actually be produced. Considering that AMD had hinted that ClawHammers would be SocketA and now it appears as if ClawHammer will have an integrated memory interface, the latter could be the case.

Quite your bashing Tony, you are a better poster than that.

With Paul, Elmer, and Wanna_B as full time posters, and you, windsock, and Tenchusatsu part time, you must mean anti-AMD biased.
