I don't expect the US to accomplish much in Afghanistan this year. Honestly. If ever.

Catching or killing bin Laden and getting the hell out relatively unscathed would be a great accomplishment, IMO.

If we accomplish more than that, I will be pleased, but I am not holding my breath.

Setting up a viable, admirable alternative to the Taliban is not something the US should even try to do alone.
