<< I find President Bush sincere but a bit simple-minded. >>

Perhaps simple-purposed, more than simple-minded. Bush is showing real leadership qualities. He is pulling the world together, against terrorism. Our military response against Afghanistan is excellent. Domestic policies, to protect us from further attacks, seem to be in high gear.

There is no substitute for good leadership. Make no mistake about it, the President has an awesome amount of authority and power, which can chart a course for success or failure. That is a lot of pressure on just one man. So far, Bush is handling it very well.

<< Considering that State and Defense are currently having a tug-of-war with him as the rope, I don't have a lot of confidence in his ability to steer a course. >>

What weakness in judgement or leadership has he shown since Sept 11th?
