BR, if I understand your post then the Euro should drop to the 0.82 range by December this year if OBL is captured and you assume that the US stock market will have a strong rally .......aka 1998. still how we get to SPX 800 first ?

During Q1 2002 reality will set in and the dollar will decline.

Confused

No, there was not any "massive and possibly unprecedented flight out of the dollar" after the attack.

How do I know? Because I have been betting against the dollar for a long time and follow it, sometimes minute by minute. The dollar was a lot lower at the end of last year than it ever has been since September 11.

"Start of the dollar's decline around the $.82 euro area"?

Huh????

Are you looking at charts that are a year out of date? The euro is currently at a little below $0.90 to the dollar, and if you look at the inverse, the dollar to the euro, it's about 1.11 euros.

I probably should not bother to reply to such confused and out-of-touch statements.
