I can't imagine anybody would think the containment pools are not totally vulnerable. They were only meant to be temporary storage. A small private jet would do just fine esp if it had explosives in it.

Thanx for your continuing to give us factual information. It's far better to err on the side of caution now & forever after 911.

Rocketman, not to nitpick but the maximum takeoff weight of a 767 is 204 metric tons. That includes 24000 gallons of fuel (approximately 80 tons of fuel).

In edit: I thoughgt you said 767, but you said 747, which can weigh 400 tons, sorry about that.
