Glenn: Will the fear of anthrax hurt ebay -- would you want a package arriving from a stranger this Christmas? Will our fear of travel be overshadowed by mailbox phobia? GST, This is uncharted territory. I typically try to predict something on prior experience. However, I have no prior experience that would give me a clue. I believe most residential people are not concerned about their mail. The fear appears to be at the work place. My feeling is on-line shopping will do well this fall but people will have the packages shipped to their residence. This could change the instant there is a report of anthrax contamination from a residential delivery.
