In these tumultuous times it is important to only report info that is creditable and verifiable. When I see a post by Ike, that is obviously not in his normal syntax, I go to various sources, such as Hindustanitimes, Indiatimes, Pakistanwire, and even the WashingtonPost. Often I find the article which he neglected to reference.

If he is posting some info that came as a PM from a friend, it should be labeled as such. If he is doing a cut and paste from a published source on the Internet, he should list the URL. Let's face it, in these days of a vibrant Internet informational media, what can he source from Paris that you and I can't from wherever we are, if we know the URL?

We should not keep secrets. I would prefer that he posts a summary and the URL of the article and then his comments or analysis, rather than doing a long cut and paste of an article I could read myself if I had the URL.

I want Ike to be my teacher, not to be a clipping service for me.
