Zeev,
I have always maintained that due to small population, Israel is always vulnerable to the giant sell out. Sharon's fears are mine too. After all there weren't that many Czechs and a map without that country didnt seem to bother many folks back in the 30's. I had a Czech professor of poly sci in the 60's that often alluded to the similarities between CZ and Israel.
I have noticed that there are plenty of folks in the US, who no matter how many acts of terror there are against Israel, are quick to condemn Israeli acts of self defense. Many civilians are dying accidentally in Afghanistan but we accept that as collateral damage. Yet every time a stray bullet finds an innocent target in Palestine..... That's enough for now. I would be interested in how other folks on the thread feel about this. mike
