I think the problem the bears have is they can't see the forest because there are too many trees in the way... I think the best way to read these charts is to place them on the floor and then stand on top of a table and just look at the charts from that distance... otherwise we're too close to the trees and we won't see the forest either... being too close to these markets is the problem most people make for themselves.....

I think the trend of these markets is up... these markets have been in an up trend for the past 14 or 15 years and in the past 18 months we've seen a hefty pull back to major supports... this includes the NAZ... the NAZ's decline was more dramatic due to greater speculation... the NAZ has also come to decent support in this general area...

During the past 18 months or so we've witnessed a consolidation period where excesses and speculation were being removed from these markets... with less speculation, I think we can see prices begin to firm and start the next big leg higher... I think these markets will move much higher than most people would even permit themselves to imagine, this is why most investors scoff at projections of DOW 16,000 to DOW 21,000 within the next major cycle..... I think da cheif has the correct perspective and is right on target, but those with no vision just don't see it, they prefer to pick at the little up ticks and down ticks along the way and make themselves and everyone around them miserable... higher levels are inevitable, all we need to do is enjoy the ride.....<g>
