Didn't the ceo guide for lower license revenues on the Q1 CC?

His worst-case projection for Q2 was $280 million in licensing revenue. The company brought in $287 million.

Is this the second quarter in a row that the company has seen lower license revenues?

It's the second sequential decrease in a row. It's the first year-over-year decrease.

I bet if I looked into this further, there was something not up to expectations on their July earnings release.

The average cash payment terms were surprisingly higher, up 53 days from 33 days. Domestic licensing was way below expectations. Mid-market CRM revenue declined hugely and was the second sequential decline in a row.

But please do look further.
