All it has ever been, is a place for criminals to live out their lives in with some sort of dignity and die with the same. As far as an English regiment of Gurkhas. It's not at all like the French Foreign Legion. Nothing else is. I don't think mankind needs another French Foreign Legion. As far as US having foreigners fight for us. You do realize that the Romans had many foreigners in their armies. As I understand it...their armies were almost all foreigners toward the end. BirdDog
