Where would 7 million people go ? And I dunno why US is talking about a lull in fighting during the days of Ramadan ? You think Taliban would hesitate killing during Christmas ? Someone posted an article here some time back, saying that Jihadees don't have to follow Islam to the hilt, coz they're already at a pretty high level in the religious heirarchy, being a step below the Prophet. And that being so, it follows that the Taliban jehadees may not even be fasting for Ramadan. And besides, why care in a war ? The lull would give them the much needed break for recharging and restrategising for a new offensive. I think its a bad decision, being made to appease Saudi and the Arab World...... Opinions ?
