there is a movement going on called Invest in US this is it's web-site investinus.org it is rave up to create a bull market as a patriotic cause.
I give this recent quote from Richard Russell,as a response 'Patriotism: The way I see it, if you lose your life fighting for the USA, that's patriotism. But if you lose your money in a bear market, that's just being a damn fool.' -- Richard Russell, 10/18/01 --p.s.--i also suspect the underlying motive behind this is greed(or people buried in the market)--is that website patriotic?? Been checking to see why EMC didn't move,the only thing i can see--SANs is in and EMC type storage is out.

There was also a call last week from a major brokerage house that there was 30% more downward risk with EMC.

A friend of mine is in a stock club that loaded up on EMC at prices in the 80's. Sad story but all to common today.
