Stream was not mentioned in the snip that I found on another board from Lightwave Magazine: --- October 19, 2001 MESSAGE FROM THE EDITOR: Three interesting developments this week: fiber in gas technology and fiber through the sewers. These may not be new concepts, but some of this week's announcements were certainly focused on options: how can we do it better and cheaper, with less destruction to the environment (what a bonus!)? A few companies are taking advantage of these options, namely Sempra Links, CityNet and Ca-botics. And of course there's always free space optics (which I personally dig, no pun intended), as demonstrated by last week's announcement from Terabeam.
