John, the other John doesn't get it. If you can only identify gorillas in hindsight, then all you need is a time machine to make the theory work.

I still insist that gorilla gaming is just another version of previously defrocked forms of the same concept: One-Decision stocks, Core stocks, and Nifty-Fiftyism. This concept works its way around near the end of every bull market. I heard a young female broker preaching on core stocks a few months back and I had to bite my lip to keep a straight face.
