Ike, once again I add my voice of appreciation to those of others for the content and perspective of your posts. They are always thought provoking and informative. I'd like to know your opinion of whether or not the U.S. should lighten up the attack, or cease bombing altogether, during the month of Ramadan? I suppose the case for doing so is to show respect to the Islam faith, but it would give Osama and Omar the opportunity to relax and regroup, perhaps thinking up new and even more vile ways of terrorizing others. What I don't have a feel for is the degree to which continued, unabated attacks on Taliban facilities and forces during Ramadan might reduce U.S. support by coalition members of Islamic faith, or affect Pakistan government stability.

Could you give us your take on this question, if you haven't already done so? thanks again.

your friend,

Paul
