I see as a stark conundrum, Thomas, your views...

...as you express them this morning regarding 'who's who' among 'real Americans.'

Let's start with the 'nationality of origin proof of patriotism.' (I'll mention the fourth estate freedom of speech aspect later on).

One one hand, you tell me that 'we real Americans' have much reason to be proud of in the fact that our ancestors had the guts to immigrate here to establish this nation. The element of courage, etc. is 'worth fighting for;' defending, etc.

Now, however, it's 'necessary' to 'weed out' newer, more recent, immigrants ... because, they, correct? don't 'represent' this intangible 'concept' that you find 'patriotic.'

As an engineer in high technology sector, you certainly must be familiar with the JIT supply chain management theory of 'thinking outside the box.'

If you are familiar with this concept, do you apply it in your business, as well as in your personal value/belief system?
