As much as you wish to deny it, Arafat is making gains. He will get his UN peace-keeping forces soon and this will not bode well for Israel I seriously doubt it. Since Sept 11, Arafat is now under REAL pressure to keep a lid on the terrorists of Hamas and co. Unfortunately for him, the time has long passed when he might have been able to do so. Moreover, Israeli actions, which would have made screaming headings a couple of months ago, are now buried on the back pages due to the US War against Terrorism.
