List of 29 World Cup qualifiers to date

LONDON, Nov 14 (Reuters) - Following is a list of the 29 countries
who have qualified for next year's World Cup finals in South Korea and
Japan:

A total of 32 countries will compete in the finals.

Holders: France
Co-hosts: Japan
South Korea

Europe (13 or 14 to qualify, not including France):

Poland
Sweden
Spain
Russia
England
Croatia
Portugal
Denmark
Italy
Turkey
Belgium
Slovenia
Germany

Ireland will also qualify if they beat Iran in a two-legged playoff. Ireland
won the first leg 2-0 in Dublin, second leg November 15 in Tehran.

South America (4 or 5):

Argentina
Paraguay
Ecuador

Brazil, Uruguay and Colombia can still qualify. One will qualify
automatically and the fifth placed team will qualify if they beat Oceania
winners Australia in a two-legged playoff on November 20 and 25.
