OT - sort of, given that news bias appears to be the sub-topic. Commersial paid news is a hot issue in EU Define commercial paid news. Is this news carried on a station which obtains its funding from advertising revenue? As opposed to funding from the government (so called public radio/tv)? As opposed to "pay for view" by subscribers ( not so common for radio/tv 'news' but very common in the print world ) I see trade offs in all of them. The only thing that works is wide diversity of news sources and natural competition. [in the EU] More and more variations of pet dogs are being banned, as well as some misformed cats Will the EU be banning misformed humans in the future too? Is this not a slippery slope? I like to ski.
